The Chicken or the Egg...

in the same way that we wonder which came first with the chicken, I'm starting to wonder that about my life...which came first, my blog or the endless crazy happenings of my life? Do I blog because I need an outlet for the craziness that is my life, or do all these things happen because God is giving me blogging material?

Like, the way I was sick and took off work and was driving to get my medicine when my car ran out of gas? I ended up walking about 2 miles to my home.

Or maybe how my car battery died every time I turned the car off, so Matt had to come rescue me at a gas station.

How about when I got hit by a car last night while I was walking out of Best Buy?!

I'm wondering if God is trying to tell me something...now I'm just waiting to be struck my lightening. Wow, don't want to jinx myself!

One time I was running on School street in Normal and it was freezing cold. It was dark, because for some reason I was always running at very dark, very cold times. I don't remember it ever being warm in Bloomington during my years at ISU.

Anyways, I think it might have been the intersection of School Street and maybe Lincoln? Anyways, a car was stopped at a stop sign and I ran out in front of him. Generally in the running world there is an understanding that cars yield for you at stop signs. This car was stopped and I thought there was that informal eye contact, where the driver says 'okay I see you'. So I ran out in front of the car and at the same time the driver hit the accelerator and ran smack into me. Fortunately the car was moving slow, and they hit their brakes after contact. I stumbled and then took off sprinting out of embarrassment.

Tami - I don't know what to say. You definately do have a lot of blogging material - and it all seems to be car related.

Glad you are okay friend.
