There and Back Again...

So I think there has been some form of resolution to the whole wrecked car ordeal...Heidi and I flew into Florida on Saturday to drive back the new vehicle. Everything was great...weather, we hung out with Jonnyeb, held a parrot, ate fondue, laid out, and shopped. On the way home, I was saying that I had to find a name for him/her (my car)...we couldn't decide if it was a girl or a boy...at first, I was sure it was a girl but the longer we drove, we realized he was a boy...don't ask why 'cause I don't know. Heidi came up with the name "Champ" since he's gold and came into my life when I needed him. I was sold and christened him my Champion but about an hour later, we were driving and suddenly the wheel started shaking and the front right corner of the car skidded as we heard metal scrape and rubber burn. When we got out we realized that Champ had blown a tire...I went for my phone and was ready to call 911 for a tow truck...I realize now that nothing about what I was going to do made sense, but I thought, "Tennessee + Blown out tire + no brother-in-laws to fix it = crises and help needed. That's when I realized that Heidi was calmly getting out the spare as she's just that amazing and knows how to change a tire. However, a good samaratin stopped to help and gave me a tire changing lesson in the process...so it all came out to be okay. However, I've rethought the name since I'm not sure that he's proved himself a champion at this point...but for now it'll do. So, I think my days with Jeri are over as now it is me and the Champ.
I'm so glad to hear that everyone liked the 25 question game! I was half afraid that I was the only one having all the fun! And yes Kase, I'll be sending the Tangy Taffy...I would LOVE to hand deliver them...but I'm afraid that may have to wait until either I'm rich or Daniel donates to my cause from his hidden nest! :)
Sandra...I'll try to come up with the next game so that it'll take a little longer perhaps so you don't miss it again! :) I thought of you while in Florida because Heidi and I stopped to visit Jenny Gutwein and for some reason that made me think of you!

Yummm! I can taste the Tangy Taffy already. I'm glad to hear that everything turned out ok with the car. Heidi is definitely amazing that she knows how to change a tire. What a gal!

I can't wait to tell Daniel about your comment about his stash... it's midnight and he's sleeping... I better wait till morning.

Love you Tam!

Kasey, why does Tangy Taffy make me think of the Candy Case and Lunch hour Bible study?? Oh memories!

Tami, glad you got Champ. I hope that the tire thing is not a foreshadowing of more trouble. I hope your car trouble passed on with Jeri. Also, I can't say that I named my Jeep Liberty but she is definitely a girl. When I lived at BMW our neighbor Mrs. Miller (you may remember stories about her weirdness) called my Jeep a buggy (she's English) so I do affectionately think of it as such. Or sometimes Jiberty. I do love my little can on wheels... my Doodles-mobile. But, after 2.5 years of begging from my hubby the license plate will soon change. I'm kinda sad about it... but I understand his humiliation about driving a girlie car with a girlier plate. He's been a good sport for so long I guess it's only fair.

I can't believe I wrote so much. I must need to get out more!

Champ...I love it.

That is actually one of the names I would like to name the puppy I am going to buy soon, the names I was thinking of:

1. Jonah
2. Reagan
3. Champ
4. Willis
5. Sevoflurane "Sevo" for short.
