We're in a Recession

News has it that money is tight. This morning, as I looked around, I noticed that my department is no exception. It's a common practice for teams to pass around a trophy to the top producers for the week. Here's a "sampling" if you will, of some team trophies that are being proudly displayed!

(Not bad upon first glance...but if you'll notice, the inspirational "inscription" is scotch taped to the base. Classy.)

That would be match box cars super glued together...if you squint your eyes and treat it like a Magic Eye picture, you may notice that the cars have been formed into the number 1.

You're not making it up...this is either a man's face, or an unfortunate woman with extreme facial hair and a tiki umbrella for a hat.
Despite the nicely manicured fingernails, it should be a rule that no hand should ever be that big...or that green.

Not quite sure how he's supposed to inspire, but he's cute.
It didn't come as a suprise when a supervisor told me that this department is going to go through a revamp to get a more professional "face lift" in order to look more like agency instead of a jr. high classroom! I'm in full support.

Tami, I would LOVE for that wise supervisor to come over across the hall to my department! It reminds me of a kindergarten class. Right now they had every "team" decorate an egg. I thought they meant a little egg but no it is a big poster egg and really it looks like something Travor and Haley would do. I want to be in a classy department not a kindergarten class!! I get so frustrated at the lack of professional environment but no one listens to me! Loved your post!! Marcia B.
