I used to be a Big Sister and my "little sister" would always call my white honda Nora. She was 7 and I just thought it was so cute that she named my car ;)
This blog makes me a little sad, because I remember the day when we named my car Traci after either you or Alison suggested that name. So therefore, Traci was born and I've had her for 3 years now. She has just grown up so fast. Tear.
That being said, I think your car should have a foreign name. I think since it is white it maybe should be scandinavian, and defnitely male. Since you are female you have to give your car a male name. Just like males have to give their car a girl name. So my suggestions are:
Of course you could also go with The Bandit or El Bandito, and call him Bandy for short. I always thought I would like a car called Bandit, but Traci was definitely a Traci and not a "Bandit"
lucy was always my favorite car name. i used to love saying to my dear ol' jeep "come on, luc" in a tone that joe junior would have used. ah, the good ol' days. i even almost named rita mae 'lucy II' but i thought she deserved her own identity.
here are a few other options for variety's sake:
rhoda
rhonda (similar name, but with a totally different vibe)
maybel
bernice
olivette (you could call her olive like popeye's girlfriend)
petunia (i have a plant named this...she's not a petunia)
i could keep going but i'll spare you. obviously i have way to much fun naming my posessions :)
