My Huckabee T-shirt

When President Bush was running for his 2nd term, I made few of us girls t-shirts that said, "Blondes for Bush" or in my case, "Brunettes for Bush". Wendy asked what my t-shirt would be this year. Well, I looked through some support groups and found several that I thought would be good like, "I blog for Huck" or there was a "Democrats for Huck"...but since I'm not a democrat, I thought that would kind of be a lie.
So, Wendy, I designed a t-shirt for my favorite support group:

I don't know...you think they want to place an order?! :) kidding.
Best Quote of the Day:
Tami,This is sooooo funny. I laughed so hard it gave me the HUCK-ups.

Quick Editorial...First off, for those of you that hate politics, I apologize that I talk so much about it but don't worry, I wont keep posting multiple political posts in a day...but I just felt like saying something here.
You all know that I support Mike Huckabee. However, I've been reading up on McCain and Romney, and having talked to Tim Schmidgall today, I agree that Mr. Huckabee probably doesn't really have a good chance at winning...with that said, I'll support Huckabee until he drops out.
But I also know that it's kind of been a toss-up of should we vote for Huckabee or Romney? As Tim said today, "A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain". Dr. Dobson was even quoted today saying “I cannot, and I will not vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience...Should John McCain capture the nomination, as many assume, I believe this general election will offer the worst choices for president in my lifetime. If these are the nominees in November, I simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life.”
I had to vote for Huckabee because of what he stands for and no matter what, he's the candidate I want to see in the White House. But I also see that voting for Huckabee takes votes away from Romney who, should Huckabee lose, would definitely be the candidate I support.
With all that said, I'm just really glad for anyone that took the time to vote today. It's our duty as citizens, and no matter who you voted for, thanks for caring enough to go out and vote. I don't want my jokes about needing to vote for Huckabee to offend anyone. I'm just glad that you thought about the candidates, and voted for the candidate you thought should get your vote.
I hope you all had a great Super Tuesday. As my mom always had to remind me every election time, "Tami, you did your duty. You cast your vote. The rest is in God's hands"...and that's where I'll leave it.

I know we disagree on this subject, because I am a Romney supporter but it is becoming evident today that thanks to Huckabee, our next President is going to be a liberal. Either McCain or Hillary Clinton, and much like J-Dob, I prolly won't vote, and if I do it will be for Hillary so I have someone to blame my life's problems on.

Huckabee has costed Romney millions of votes. I am so mad at Mike Huckabee right now. He has been out of this race for weeks. He even stole the W. Virginia primary today.

Oh well, I just checked the PJ star website and it looks like Aaron Schock is absolutely crushing his opponents, he has over 70% of the votes. So no matter what I will go to bed feeling good. Plus it is warm.

Jonathan...I have to agree on the W.Virginia thing 'cause no matter how you look at it, it was shady. I agree, I do NOT like McCain, and it looks like he's going to get the nomination.
I also think that you could make a pretty good argument that Huckabee was to this as Ross Perrot has been to the democrats in the past. But I've been reading that Huckabee was not necessarily the spoiler in all this, that he's done very well today and that Romney may have taken votes from Huckabee.
But all in all, I have to agree with you Jon. If one or the other were not in the race, I'm sure McCain would not be doing so well. But when it came down to it, I couldn't vote for Romney...I think for the same reason you couldn't vote for Huckabee.
