Don't you just love how I tend to make a really big deal out of nothing?! I appreciated all the comments I got on the post yesterday! I loved hearing what all you had to say. I purposefully didn't mention what my leap was, as I still was a bit scared to commit to the public awareness of what I'm going to attempt...the "inhale" as it were before the leap...
I'm starting to feel the need to riiiiii-bit with as many times as I've used the word "leap"!
So, my jump is into this...I'm starting a photography business. I hope your curiousities haven't been too dissapointed, possibly hoping for something more exciting...maybe news of a move, a man, or a mohawk. :) But I'm excited. Extremely nervous...but excited.

WOw, this is SO exciting! I can't wait to see some of your work - you will be posting them, right?!
A big Congrats!!! Oh, and I still want to see that mohawk ;)
I too want to see the mohawk!! I know! You can do a mohawk and the photograph it! What a great start!!! :)

I think it is a great idea, and I also think you'll do great. I wish I felt as passionate about anesthesiology as you feel about photography. I would never do anesthesia for free, I don't think I would even do it for $70-80 thousand a year, now that I think about it.
Hi, Tami! I just came to your blog this evening and read your last few posts... that is so exciting!
I, too, can identify with the fears you have in all of this. However, just know that your are very talented, and God is great, and if you do this for His glory He will bless you no matter what.
One of my favorite questions, posed by Robert H. Shuller, is, "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" I often think of that question and realize that I am so inhibited and paralyzed by my own fear of failure. My encouragement to you is to break down that wall with the truth that you know, which is that as a dreamer and a creative person, you love this stuff. Have fun with it.
Best of luck to you!
Taryn
