Poll Results: Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy

I guess that I shouldn't be suprised that Elizabeth and Darcy won the couple to be. They're timeless and classic...but I have to give a shout-out to Caractus and Truly (Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang). Apparently no one wanted to be them and I was suprised since I wondered for a while if I would rather be a multi-millionaire married to the owner of Fox Bookstore (Kathleen Kelly) or be Truly Scrumpcious the daughter of a candy factory owner and married to a man who can sing, dance, and invent a very poor sweeper. I mean, look at her pink outfit? She's got style...and to be an instant mother of two very dirty children whose mother was aparently perfect could be fun. Not only that but her husband would be an inventor who locks himself in a garage inventing cars that take you to the next thing to H-E-double hockey sticks...and lights himself on fire. What's not to like? To top it off, she'd be the daughter-in-law to an old man who obviously has serious intestinal issues since he spends most of his life in the outhouse. So, life as Truly Scrumpcious may not be as glamorous as Pemberly or a penthouse in NYC...and she may have to give up swinging...but hey, when she gets depressed about her life, she can take comfort in the fact that at least she's got a great name...or not.

Tami, that was SO funny!! I just laughed and laughed. It is so funny how bizarre that movie really is. I never noticed it until I had Matt watch it with me once. WE just cracked up because there are so many odd things about it. British humor I guess.

I still think having Elizabeth Bennett's mother is enough reason not to want to be her. Oh, and Mr. Whickam as a brother in law?! GaG!!

I like your poll question today! I would like to know why everyone chose what they did...that would be interesting!

Rebekah,
Mr. Whickam? Isn't he the one that marries Jane? I LOVE his character. I think he's so sweet! So funny...

Oh, Tami-
Your poll today is SOOO hard. I couldn't decide. NONE of them would be fun. I had to pick Phyllis...yikes! Why couldn't you have put Jim or Pam - oh wait, then everyone would have voted for them. Haha. So fun!

Sarah! I totally agree! I was thinking Jim or Pam would be awesome! But I picked Michael b/c I think it would be funny to try and make him feel as awkward as he makes all of us feel :)

Sarah...I think it was Mr. Bingley that married Jane. Mr. Whickam was the creep that married the younger sister. And yes, I thought putting Jim and Pam as an option just wouldn't be fair. :)

and is it too late for jaret and i to be added to the couples for your questions?
