Another frustration of mine is this...take a look at the picture from 2 posts ago of the elderly gentleman carving the turkey. It looks like a pleasant picuture...however, I have somehow managed to make just part of the picture my wallpaper at State Farm. I haven't the slightest thought on how to undo my messes. sigh.
I love reading the comments, so I'm going to start writing back to the comments from the last post...Heidi, thanks. :) Heaven on Earth in Afghanistan? Must have been a bad day. I'm glad to know little Will is already a reader of blogs...he's a wise little man.

Tami, maybe they make one of those pop up maps of Gridley...you should check at the gas station next time you're there! at least you didn't have to drive back to Bloomington and start from Veteran's Parkway to get your barings!
Afghanistan might be Heaven on earth to somebody...but I'm not sure why it was to you three years ago!!
oh tam, tam, tam. you should have just given me a ring. i know that town like the back of my hand. actually sometimes i still get confused on which road to turn on to get to my cousin's old house. how embarrassing is that! but i don't think its called a tween. it's definitely a village. that sounds much more quaint, which doesn't really describe gridley, but it's the appropriate word nontheless.
oh, and rebekah, if they did make a pop up map, i'd be first in line, but i don't think it's true. sorrow.
Leslie...
Have you seen the movie "The Village"? If you had, I don't think you'd be calling Gridley a village...unless you see the movie and conclude that it is... :)
